Team culture with digital speed networking
Culture: the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization.

There are many definitions on the internet of the word culture, but the one I want to focus on is the one above. In my opinion it is the most important aspect of a company which wants to be successfully in the long run! I want to underline and bolden the terms “long run” and “most important”, let me please explain why and how digital Speed Networking can be a tool to strengthen the foundation of a culture inside a company or institution.

What is the most important factor that determines success for a company?

  • Would you say it’s a perfect product?

  • Would you say it’s a billion dollar market?

  • Would you say the geographical location of a company?

In my humble opinion the most important factor that determines the success of a company is the culture.

A well established culture can make the difference between 100 people pulling in 100 different directions or a 100 people going focused as a laser in one direction. You can have the perfect product but you may lose to the competition with the inferior product if in the long run your team is not sharing the same beliefs, goals and values and pulling in one direction. I would suggest the following video which brilliantly explains in details the value of culture:

But how is digital speed networking connected with this?

Culture is not something you can inject with a needle like a vaccine. You have to establish communication between your employees and over time let your culture spread through the company. It has become quite a challenge because of the pandemic and here is why digital speed networking is the perfect tool to overcome this challenge.

Remember our solution is digital, this means people can be globally anywhere and still be brought in touch with each other. Let your HR Manager schedule a meeting, send the link to the employees worldwide and have a short speed networking lunch break for example. It will be exciting for them and they will be able to talk and share their experiences with each other. With our dynamic Icebreakers you can help them by suggesting certain topics that they can talk about.

A perfect foundation to maintain and establish your culture, which in my opinion is the most important key to your success.
